Properties

pH -  NA. Viscosity - Spindle T-C @ 30 rpm = 12,000 to 15,000 cP.

Procedure

Phase A - In a side vessel, combine Phase A with mixing until fully dissolved. Heat Phase A to 75°C. Phase B - In main vessel, add Phase B and begin heating to 75°C. Phase C - Once Phase B reaches temperature, add Phase C to Phase B slowly, increasing mixing speed as needed to become uniform. Phase D - Add Phase D ingredients to Phase BC in formula order to disperse the powder and pigment into the oil phase. Once complete, add Phase A slowly to Phase BCD. Record the time taken to gradually add the water phase to the oil phase. Increase mixing speed as need to avoid pooling water on the surface while emulsifying. Once combined, allow the mixture to continue mixing for the same amount of time taken to add the water phase to the oil phase. Discontinue heat and cool the batch to 40°C.  Phase E - Add Phase E ingredients in formula order. Phase F - Add Phase F and finish cooling to room temperature. Homogenize batch at 3000 rpm for two to three minutes.
